Mercia Floors partners with racing driver Cameron Smith

The Nuneaton flooring firm's name goes on the car at Silverstone this November.

Mercia Floors is now an official partner of Cameron Smith Racing, supporting the young driver's campaign at the Walter Hayes Trophy — the biggest Formula Ford event in the world — at Silverstone on 31 October and 1 November. 

The partnership puts the Mercia Floors name on one of the most competitive grids in British motorsport, at a circuit twenty-five miles from the company's Nuneaton base. 

Cameron Smith, 19, races Formula Ford 1600, the junior category that launched the careers of Jenson Button and Mark Webber. Born in Los Angeles and now based in Leamington Spa, he has more than fifty races behind him and returned from a shattered leg to win again within six months of getting back in the car. 

Alongside branding and hospitality across the race weekend, the partnership includes a package of filmed content produced by Cameron himself, a film graduate of the UAL Film and TV 2-year programme. 

Mercia Floors has supplied and fitted domestic and commercial flooring across the Midlands for more than twenty-five years, from Unit 10 Dunns Close, Nuneaton.
